Grace's Chocolate Sauce
(makes about 4 cups)
1/2 cup margarine
4 oz. unsweetened chocolate, chopped
3 cups sugar
1/2 t. salt
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 t. vanilla
In a heavy saucepan, stir margarine and chocolate together until melted, over medium heat.
Stir in sugar and salt. When well combined, add milk. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Take off heat, add vanilla and stir.
